Flora González López, better known as Flora González, is the daughter of Andrés González, who grew up and educated in France where she worked as a model until the mid-1990s, and of Francisca López, a dressmaker in her hometown. He has two sisters, Natalia (1989) and Andrea (1997).
At 15 he had already decided what he wanted to do. He began learning his profession at Radio Andújar (Cadena Ser), where he acquired great knowledge before beginning his career. He studied in his hometown until he was 18 years old.
In 2003 he moved to Seville to begin his journalism studies at the University of Seville. Once she graduated from the University of Seville in the Bachelor of Journalism (2008), she moved to Madrid to do a master’s degree in Fashion and Beauty Communication at the San Pablo-CEU University (2009–2010) .2 Upon finishing these studies decides to begin the Degree in Art History (Art Criticism and Conservation of Artistic Heritage) at the National Distance Education University (UNED).
She began her first professional job (January 2010) at Yo Dona, the supplement of the El Mundo newspaper in the editing and closing department (proofreading of articles, applying the editorial style and writing).
In May 2010, she was hired by GQ Spain magazine, there as an editor of articles on lifestyle, plans, gastronomy, cocktails, decoration, motor, technology and / or beauty (trends related to the world of fashion and men’s accessories , interviews with public figures such as actors, designers, architects …)
After nine months in this men’s magazine, she started as an editor in Vogue magazine where she will be for two years and six months (supplements: Vogue Brides, Vogue Children, Vogue Jewelry, Vogue Collections, Vogue Gourmet, Vogue Business and Vogue Accessories). After this stage, he joined the Vogue.es team until June 2015.
From June 2015 to September 2017, she was responsible for the fashion, beauty and lifestyle content on the Movistar + television channel, Non Stop People (Spain).
In September 2015, she was incorporated into the Mediaset group as presenter of the space on the weather forecast in the weekend edition of Informativos Telecinco, a task she was carrying out for 16 months until January 2017. She also presented in Noticias Cuatro the two editions of the time, Monday to Friday at 2:45 PM, 9:05 PM or 9:20 PM.
Known for the relationship she had with Daniel Muriel, she confirmed her final break at the end of 2015. During her work at Non Stop People, the magazine ‘Ten Minutes’ revealed a possible relationship with her partner and presenter Guillermo Martínez.
In September 2016 he presented the male and female editions of the Madrid catwalk MFShow. In November 2016, he presented the II meeting on sustainable fashion and recycling at the Madrid Costume Museum.
In 2019, despite the end of Noticias Cuatro, Flora continued to report on the meteorology, this time in Cuatro al día, she is in charge of the daily micro space of Eltiempohoy also in Cuatro and in other spaces of the Mediaset group. Also, he continues with the Degree in Art History at the U.N.E.D.
